» Grants » Professional Development GrantsProgram Description
The United Arts of Central Florida Professional Development Grants for Individual Artists and Arts Administrators support activities that further the careers of artists and arts administrators, to help them grow and thrive in the Central Florida community.
Professional Development Grants are intended to support emerging or established artists and arts administrators who have attained a certain level of proficiency and commitment, as represented by resumé, artist statement and work samples. Awards do not fund nonprofessionals who engage in art as a hobby or volunteers serving in an administrative capacity with a cultural organization. The goal of these awards is to advance artistic excellence and management expertise. Last year 37 individual artists and arts administrators were awarded a total of $33,025.
