United Arts of Central Florida (UACF) takes every precaution to protect your information.
UACF receives personal and financial information from its donors and friends through a variety of direct communications between UACF and the individual. This communication may be written, by telephone, email or via out website. Your privacy is important to United Arts and our Board of Directors has adopted this Privacy Policy for your protection and information.
How We Use Your Information
Personal and Financial Information: If you make a pledge or donation to UACF, we request personal information (such as name, address, phone and email) and financial information if you are making a payment (such as a credit card number or donation amount). This information is for UACF purposes only to create a donor record within our donor database and/or to fulfill from the donor, and will never trade personal or financial information with any partisan group, political party, or party committee, even if it is a non-profit.
UACF raises operating support for 16 cornerstone organization and approximately 50 affiliate art and cultural organizations and/or professionals. These cornerstone and affiliate organizations occasionally host events that may be of interest to our donors. UACF reserves the right to share personal information (such as name, address, phone and/or email) with its beneficiary groups and organizations and local, reputable cultural partners for marketing purposes. At any time, our donors may “opt-out” and elect not to have their contact information shared with our affiliates and partners as indicated in the “opt-out” procedures below.
UACF coordinates a combines fundraising campaign annually. UACF will share personal information, including donation amounts, with those organizations that are direct beneficiaries of donor designation donations only, so they will be able to thank you personally for your donation on their behalf. UACF will never sell, share or exchange financial information, including credit card information, in any form.
UACF may share aggregate demographic information with our sponsors. This aggregated information does not include any personal or financial information which can identity you as an individual.
Donations of $50 and above are eligible to receive Orlando Arts Magazine. UACF will provide name and address information to our partners to permit the mailing of the magazine. Donors should check the privacy policies of our partners.
Finally, UACF and its cornerstone “cultural partner” organizations recognize all UACF donors in annual publications. Donors will be given the option to list their name anonymously if they so choose.
Email: If you supply us with your email address, you may receive email from us regarding updates to our website, events, online surveys and/or our affiliates and partners, please let us know by sending an email to uacf@unitedarts.cc.
We do use email as a means of receiving feedback from our supporters and encourage you to email us with your questions or comments. We read every email that we receive and will respond, if needed, in a timely manner.
“Opt-out” Procedure
UACF offers a choice of opportunities to restrict or remove your personal information. To restrict the use of your personal information to only UACF purposes and ensure that you continue to receive UACF communications, then please indicate “I wish to receive UACF communications only.” By doing this, your personal information will be maintained in the UACF donor database ONLY, and will not be shared with any of our affiliates who might wish to share event information or their newsletter with you.
To remove your personal information from the UACF donor database and no longer receive any future communications from UACF, then please indicate “I wish to be removed from the UACF donor database.” Mail, email or call this information to:

Security
UACF has defined appropriate procedures to secure your personal and financial information, including your name, address(es), email address, payment records and credit accounts both online and offline.
Online: UACF uses an encryption technology to protect sensitive information such as credit card numbers. Online donations are transmitted securely to United Arts and processed by UACF.
Offline: UACF will store your personal information unless you have asked us not to as outlined in our “opt-out” policy. Our database is password protected and only available via workstations in our offices; only employees of UACF are permitted to access the database. Employees are frequently reminded of the confidentiality of the information they handle and what they must do to maintain that confidentiality. Paper copies of transaction data are stored in a secure location in our offices for audit purposes.
Agreement to Terms
Our policy is intended to provide you with the safest and most secure experience possible. Since offerings and technologies change, we reserve the right to change, modify, add or remove portions of our privacy policy at any time without prior notice. Please periodically review our privacy policy for changes.
